“Mostobud’s” strategy is mastering modern technologies. Nowadays construction of every new bridgework calls for original, at times, unique approach. New technologies require total renewal of technological cluster.
MOSTOBUD is always looking for the most effective technologies that enable speeding-up construction terms, facilitate construction process and decrease labor cost. One of such technologies is bridge construction using large sections assembled onshore or even in production shops. In this context, MOSTOBUD is a pioneer company in the national bridge construction business using floating cranes of great loading capacity. Thus, construction of a bridge arch across Dnipro in Kyiv implies assembling sections, weighing 600 tons each, by a floating crane with a loading capacity of 680 tons. A floating crane with the loading capacity of 1360 tons, worth about $20 million, is supposed to be used in the construction of Baytovy and frame bridges in Zaporizhzhya. Now these cranes are being custom-made for us. In future, our company plans to use these cranes in construction in Kyiv, in Kremenchug project, construction of bridge across Kyiv Sea in the North of the capital. Cranes are assembled in such a way, so that their sections can easily pass all river gates and it is easy to re-assemble them at the construction site.
MOSTOBUD PJSC has deep foundation technologies of all types:
- drilled pier – 0.6 to 3 m in diameter, depth – up to 77 m, using Italian drilling rigs SOILMEC;
- foundation cylinders;
- displacement piles;
- vibro-drop shells;
- foundation in hard-rock (solid, sheeting, boulder-stones).
“Mostobud” has proven its reliability implementing the following complex projects:
- building cable-stayed bridge;
- building monolithic concrete slab spans;
- erecting metallic slab spans with welded joint and joint on high-strength grip bolts, composite reinforced concrete steel plate deck bridges and orthotropic plate deck bridges.
PJSC “Mostobud” is able to carry out bridge construction, crossover and mooring construction as well as other complex construction projects.
