“Mostobud” is a world-wide school for highly qualified engineering and technical employees and workers

The first company’s chief executive was Vladimir Arhiptsev, who then became a deputy minister of transport construction.

For about 35 years the company was headed by a talented engineer and administrator, Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of State Prize and Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of the USSR, Doctor of Science Isaac Barenboim, whose name is connected to a whole period in the development of native bridge construction.

A lot of labor and energy was put into creation and development of the company by chief engineers V. Rudomino, F. Suslov, E. Dubrova.

Deputy ministers of transport construction, Heroes of Socialist Labor V. Alekseev and T. Gogichashvilli, deputy director of department of Ministry of Transport Construction V. Nagin, head of division of Ministry of Transport Construction V. Ostrovskij worked in subdivisions of “Mostobud”
